'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Content or Brave Face?

Listening to the reports coming in from the tabloid, you`d think the Atetico Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera was distraught at missing out on a move to Old Trafford.

But that doesn`t appear to be the case!

Comments emerging from Spain, suggest he`s quite happy in Bilbao with the player quoted as having remarked,

'I'm proud to wear the Athletic shirt. I didn't close any deal with United."

'It's an honour that United made an offer for me and that Athletic wanted to keep me. Nobody told me at any point that United were going to pay the clause".

'There are questions that United need to answer. I am very happy at Athletic. I am only thinking about having a good season at the San Mames stadium.'

Or is he just putting on a brave face?

I'd say neither like the rest of us he's just wondering what the hell was going on? The deals on the deals off mysterious united "representatives" that have nothing to do with us bureaucratic problems. You couldn't make this 5hit up
