Rooney Update (08/07/13)

Although one of the most succinct points of David Moyes first official press conference, on Friday afternoon, related to the future of Wayne Rooney, speculation was still rife this weekend.

Although David Moyes categorically stated that Rooney was remaining at Old Trafford and was not for sale, it didn`t stop one member of the Sunday red-top press brigade to declare that the London clubs, Arsenal and Chelsea, are still interested in luring the twenty-seven year-old striker away from Old Trafford.

We`ll just have to wait and see won`t we!

In the event Rooney does leave it will be abroad. The papers are just wasting resources linking arsenal and Chelsea with a move for him.
