Thiago Transfer Drawing Closer

Thiago Transfer Drawing Closer

Our summer long link with the young Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara could soon be reaching a conclusion.

One of the more respected of newspapers, the Observer, is convinced that a deal for the twenty-two year old will be concluded sometime this week.

Amongst the column inches the newspaper devoted to the story is the inference that the transfer fee will be £17 million and that Thiago will put pen-to-paper on a five year deal.

Naturally, when / if anything is finally sealed we`ll report further on the matter!

A lot of smoke now. Usually credibility is blown out the water when only one or two news sources are reporting something but when they're all saying it there's got to be some truth in the matter. Hopefully the deal is announced and wrapped up soon. It's in the best interests of both the club and player and its seems like a perfect fit.

Hopefully this happens soon so we can move on and acquire some more targets. It will be a good start to the transfer window for us.

Can't see why this isn't resolved yet it's the best move for all involved well maybe not Barca. He needs playing time we need a decent midfielder get him bloody signed.

It wont happend - unfortunately, but for some reason we seem to miss out on the talents of late. Hazard, Lucas, Pogba and even Sanchez are just a few. We are in desperate need for a midfield buff. Scholes is gone, Ando will never be fit enough, Cleverly is a utility player that leaves Giggs, Carrick and Fletcher and Kagawa. At the same time we are linked with yet another defender, I am getting worried. Midfield is a must reinforce area, and we havent done anything yet in the transfermarket. I see Thiago settling in Barca for another year or two, or being off sold to Bayern - he wont come to United I fear.
