Rooney - Barcelona Interest

With speculation continuing to be published relating to the future of Wayne Rooney, a possible new destination has emerged this morning.

Previously, Rooney has been linked with moves, abroad, to Paris St Germain and Real Madrid, whilst, at home, Arsenal and Chelsea continue to be mentioned in dispatches.

Out of those four aforementioned clubs, many have perceived that Rooney, if he does leave Old Trafford, would prefer a move to Stamford Bridge.

However, the latest name to be thrown into the mix could change all that.

Speculation is rife that Barcelona if Rooney becomes available would be very keen to snap the striker up with the pundits inferring that his all-action style would suit Barcelona down to a tee.

Rooney doesn't do tikka takka, he isn't patient enough and typically is too selfish with the ball to ever adjust to it. Not to mention he's like to play as striker even though he's better in midfield and he isn't about displace Messi now is he.

Rooney wouldn't work at Barca but if their willing to cough up more fool them.
