Cavani Linked to Old Trafford Move

Splashed all over the back page of one red-tops` this morning is the inference that Manchester United are going to enter the race for the Napoli striker, Edinson Cavani.

Cavani, a prolific scorer in Serie A, is already being tracked by Real Madrid as well as our Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester City.

Apparently, the player has a 54 million buy-out clause in his contract but that doesn`t appear to be off-putting for United with David Moyes keen to pair the striker alongside Robin Van Persie.

If the rumours is more than speculation, any arrival of Cavani would, quite probably, see the exit of Wayne Rooney.

Not going to happen. Class player but not one we need, especially at 50 mil.

54 million? lol surely we need to reinforce our midfield not waste a lot of cash on an area that we are not doing too badly in, I mean we have Hernandez on our bench, maybe if Rooney does get lost we might need another striker but not at that price.

Way too much for a player we don't need if we do go for him though think is safe to say Rooney is gone.
