Meulensteen Pay-Off Problem

As David Moyes continues to shape his backroom staff, there are mutterings that all is not well.

One tabloid newspaper, this morning, carries the inference that although he has indicated that he`d prefer to leave, our Dutch coach Rene Meulensteen has been unable to agree a severance agreement, prompting the 49 year-old to become frustrated, or as the obligatory source within the club is quoted as saying,

"Rene is really disappointed at what is happening. His representatives are trying to sort it out."

"He loves United after so many years there and he is said about leaving."

"But he can`t believe the way the club are handling his departure."

Hopefully, it will all get sorted out soon as we don`t want any hangovers as we seek to commence the defence of our title in August, do we?

Just pay him off, I doubt the sum is that much to really dent the finances of the club and after the years of service I'd sooner see the relationship end amicably.

This is ridiculous. Pay the man what he's due.
Kanchelskis
The fella deserves his payment the club shouldn't be wrangling over this. In my opinion though I don't think he should leave
MotorMad
Thing is, if he's willing to continue working at the club until he's paid off, why leave in the first place?
