'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'I Wanted Keane's Shirt'

Burton FA Cup hero Keith Gilroy fired the Brewers into a dream third-round tie with Manchester United, but says the match against the Red Devils will have a down side.

The 22-year-old winger was Albion's star of the show at the Pirelli Stadium, where UniBond Premier Division outfit Burscough were beaten 4-1 last night. But the former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international wanted Roy Keane's shirt!

Gilroy: 'I've been a Manchester United fan since I was a boy so to face them in the next round is the pick of the draw for me. Knowing we're going to be playing Manchester United in January means we can have a great Christmas.

'I'm only disappointed Roy Keane's left United because that's the shirt I'd like to have collected at the end.

'I've missed a few chances so far this season so I was glad when the first one went in. Scoring goals is one part of my game I need to improve.

'All the players were excited when we were drawn against Manchester United on Sunday but the manager's kept us level-headed. Last night's game was the biggest match in the club's history, simply because of the reward at the end.'
