United Fixtures - 2013 / 2014

There`s still a lot of the close season to navigate before we can all get back to the business in hand of defending our Premier League title.

But the release of the fixtures for next season, albeit in a form that will undoubtedly be carved up by the various satellite stations intent on providing the subscription paying viewers the service they want, is a landmark in what is a boring period.

Therefore, thanks to the European Court of Justice ruling that Dataco have no right to enforce financial charges for them to be published, we are now allowed to do so.

So here are the 2013 / 2014 fixtures as they currently stand:-

Could we have wished for a better first home game to get those juices flowing or perhaps David Moyes might have wished for an easy couple of games to get acclimatized to that bench that Sir Alex Ferguson occupied for so long?

Would have been nice to have an easier start but every team has to play the each other in the end. Just hoping the matches following the champions league don't bite us on the arse as well.

What a tough start. Previously we weren't strong starters until city started challenging and forced us to keep up early on, hopefully that trend will continue this season and we can get a decent few points early on despite the opposition. Moyes will have to buck his trend of being a slow starter or risk playing catch up from the off.
