Powell - It`s a Loan Deal

Powell - It`s a Loan Deal

Earlier this week, when talk of Nick Powell going to Wigan became prevalent, we raised a vital question.

We were eager to know whether the young midfielder, acquired from Crewe Alexandra last summer, was being moved on permanently or on a loan basis.

Well we now have our answer with it being emphasized in the tabloid press, this morning; that the new Wigan manager, Owen Coyle, will be contacting David Moyes shortly to discuss a season long loan deal for the youngster.

Here at Vital Manchester United we reckon it`s a move that will do Powell a power of good giving him regular first team football and developing his game under a decent manager.

But what are your views?

Honestly thought it would be a loan deal it's the common practice with our youngsters now. In all fairness it's probably the best for him get some first team experience and not be twiddling his thumbs on the bench.

Great loan move. Wigan worked wonders for cleverley whilst Coyle done wonders with Sturridges and Wilsheres development hopefully the two combined will see Powell get plenty of game time and develop his game. If he gets more game time this time round I'd be happy to see henriquez join Wigan on loan again.
