Kagawa`s Aim

Kagawa`s Aim

Signed from Borussia Dortmund last season, Shinji Kagawa had a mixed season.

Good in patches, decent in patches but a little below par in patches, Shinji has pledged to up the ante next season and is quoted as having remarked to the media, very recently,

"I wasn`t satisfied with my overall performance, but I played well in the second half of the season and started to get more and more confidence."

"Hopefully I can keep that going at the Confederations Cup."

"In this business you need to be like Rooney or Van Persie and prove yourself if you want the ball. I want to be a player like them, which means I need results."

Consistency, at a high level, is what needs to be strived for but now Shinji has that crucial first difficult season over and done with; we reckon he`ll be on an upward march!

It was a slow start through no fault of his own but he proved to be so good towards the end that he displace the golden boy from his preferred role all the way to the bench to the point where he wanted to leave :P looking forward to seeing more of a more settled kagawa in his preferred role next season.
