Nani Bid Rejected

Although Nani might be deemed surplus to requirements after his contract wrangle, it appears, quite rightly, we`re not prepared to give him away.

Reports have surfaced in the press this morning that Manchester United have rejected a bid from the Turkish side, Galatasaray.

If the reports are correct, the Istanbul clubs chairman, Unal Aysal, has claimed,

"We offered 7 million for him."

"But they didn`t accept. We can`t give more than this and because of this he is not on our list anymore."

It appears that United are seeking somewhere nearer 8.5 million before any serious discussions can take place.

Will Galatasaray be tempted? That remains to be seen!

8.5 mil?! With Juventus and free-spending Monaco and PSG all supposedly interested I'd expect at the very least 10-15 mil. He might lack consistency but he's not lacking technical ability and that alone should see us grab more than 8 mil. Why do we insist on ripping ourselves off lately? No shock nani is leaving, it was only on the back of fergie rating him and glimpses of his ability that he stayed this long to begin with.
