Powell Out on Loan - But Where?

Powell Out on Loan - But Where?

Last summer, when Sir Alex Ferguson signed the promising teenage midfielder Nick Powell, from Crewe Alexandra, the inference was that he wouldn`t be sent out on loan.

Now that was, maybe, the case with Sir Alex Ferguson wanting the youngster to become fully integrated into the set-up at Old Trafford at such a tender age.

However, his first team appearances were few and far between and we`re now receiving the inference that Powell could well be sent out on loan, to a Championship club, next season to ensure he gets some regular first team football.

One possible destination could be Doncaster Rovers with their chairman, John Ryan, openly admitting his club is interested remarking,

'We've put our hat in the ring."

But, this is our point to ponder over - would it be better for Powell to go to one of the less prominent Championship clubs or should he be sent to a club that is perceived as being promotion contenders or does it not really matter?

Your thoughts would be most appreciated!

He needs the game time and if he's not going to get it here then a loan elsewhere is the next best thing. Should've loaned him out last season back to Crewe but hey ho.
