'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rooney Fit

Watching our hopes of landing our first FA Cup, since 2004, disappear in the wintry sun at Stamford Bridge yesterday afternoon, was a hard apple to swallow.

However, with just the Premier League title to close down now, United supporters will be buoyed by the news that Wayne Rooney will be fit for the showdown, on Monday, against our noisy-neighbours Manchester City.

Since returning from international duty, with England, Wayne has been side-lined with a minor hamstring problem causing him to miss the home fixture against Sunderland and the aforementioned FA Cup trip to Chelsea.

Welcome back Wayne, now let`s go on and seal that Premier League!

We'll probably play alright for the first half then give up in the second. If our current for is anything to go by. Least if Rooneys fit he can run himself into the ground making up for lack of effort from midfield.
