Ours to Throw Away?

As the dust settles on our fine 2-0 win at Loftus Road yesterday, against Queens Park Rangers, we wait to see if our rivals, Manchester City, can reduce the gap when they entertain Chelsea this afternoon.

But, as we reflect on the win yesterday, Ryan Giggs, who notched up his 999th senior appearance in all guises as a player, had a few thoughts on how the afternoon unfurled, remarking,

'We are in a tremendous position. We had to dig in today to get that important 15-point lead and we are really pleased. We knew it was going to be difficult; they are fighting for their lives, so it was tough. But I have to say Rafael's goal was one of the best goals you are going to see and in the second half we got better. He really deserves it, he's been brilliant, really consistent, and it tops off a good season for him. At 1-0 you never know how it's going to go, especially with the quality they have up front, but at 2-0 we kept the ball better and it was comfortable.'

Like I`ve said before, this title is ours to throw away!

Let's not be confident in the fact that its ours to throw away as we could still yet throw it away last season. The players seemed to have learned from last season though and don't look like they're going to get complacent any time soon and will play every game like a final until its mathematically impossible for then to catch us.

Not celebrating just yet, however if *****ty dont get 3 points today, I find it very hard to believe us throwing 5 of the last 11, that does not seem possible. I must admit though I didnt expect *****ty and Chelsea to let the PL slip so easily.
