United boss needs fan power!

United boss needs fan power!

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has called for the fans to give the team a boost on match days.

Wednesday night saw thousands of Celtic fans descend on Old Trafford to create a fantastic atmosphere for everyone. Something which was replicated by the great game that was going on in front of them.

Ferguson said: 'I keep saying I wished every team could bring 6,000 fans with them like Celtic because it does create a competitive element between the fans.'

The boss is hoping that with a better atmosphere the performances of the players can be lifted, and that fan-power can be the catalyst.

where is all the rivalry gone? i don't see any article on united's site about our game tomm and even on my arsenal page, there isn't much of a discussion happening between the two sets of fans, it's only arsenal adn the chelsea fans having a go with each other. i wanna see some passionate toks between us and the united fans before tomm's match. lets build up the atmosphere for tommorrow's game on vf..
