Danish Striker Stays Put

Can`t say I`d heard that we were interested in this one, but according to Sky Sports we might have been.

Reports filtering through infer that the highly rated Danish striker, Viktor Fischer, still lonely 18 but a full Danish international, is keen to remain at Ajax and has put pen to paper on a new contract.

Like I said in the introduction, I wasn`t aware we were even tracking the lad!

Lad looks like his got the potential to be special. Think the best move for his development would be to stay at Ajax and get plenty of first team football. Rather than looking at others academy's we really need to start bringing through potential of the calibre of Fischer through our own.
