'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Do We Have Competitors

This morning it is being reported, by some news sources, that Bayern Munich, under the managerial tutorship of Pep Guardiola, are also keen on snaring the twenty-four year old who is rated in the 24 million bracket.

However if our interest is genuine, then the fact that Borussia Dortmund would be extremely reluctant to sell to a rival might be too our advantage.

As for the player himself, he seems pleased that more than one club is showing interest in his services, reputedly commenting,

"It`s nice other clubs are interested but I`m getting annoyed by the speculation."

Understandable, but we`re sure this may rumble on for a few months yet!

Unless Rooney starts playing in central midfield I doubt we will need another striker any time soon. That said he doesn't seem like a guardiola player either. I reckoned he's destined for elsewhere in the premier league.
