Garay Back on the Agenda!

Garay Back on the Agenda!

A familiar name has popped up in the transfer speculation gossip this morning.

It seems that Manchester United are showing a keen interest in Ezequiel Garay, the 26 year-old Benfica centre back.

It would appear that our scouting staff are monitoring Garay on a regular basis. However, the tabloid press picking up on the fact that there may be some concerns about a possible transfer.

Garay was once on the books of Real Madrid, but failed to make an impact, but the Spanish club was sensible enough insert into his exit a sell-on clause. Now whether that proves to be problematic or whether it`s just the fact that he didn`t make the grade at Real Madrid that troubles an instant decision being made remains to be seen.

Can't see why. I don't see anything particularly special in him and don't think he improves the squad at all perhaps adds depth but that's it. If we're going to improve the defence at least get someone who can add depth and has the ability or potential to offer the squad something in the future rather than just remain a squad player.
