Stoke Want How Much?

Continuing the speculation relating to Asmir Begovic becoming a Manchester United player this summer, it appears that the price is going up and up.

The latest inference being that Stoke City, having signed a replacement in Jack Butland, are digging their heels in for a huge 15 million.

Apparently this figure is based on the fact that, last summer, Chelsea had an offer said to be in the region of 12 million rejected.

I wonder how long this one will run on and on for?

Last summer Chelsea had a bid rejected despite the fact they already had a keeper lined up in courtois? Newspaper bull as usual. Highly doubt we're even interested in him let alone that interested in him to pay that much. No doubt this rumour is like the lloris and akinfeev rumours of seasons past, baseless and won't come to fruition.
