Yet More Keeper Talk!

The transfer deadline day deal that took Jack Butlnad to Stoke City, as we expected, has opened up yet more talk that Asmir Begovic is bound for Old Trafford.

This morning, one Sunday tabloid - The Sunday People, is of the opinion that Begovic is indeed bound for Old Trafford with a deal worth 9 million being struck.

The tabloid also infers that the deal will not result in the departure of our young Spanish keeper, David de Gea,

We can but wait and see!

Lindegaard is great back-up and sufficient enough. Why spend 9 mil on begovic if de gea is staying? De Gea will have his potential squandered if he doesn't get game time and plays second fiddle to Begovic. In contrast if de gea remains the number 1 why pay 9 mil for competition backup when lindegaard provides that already? Begovic I can't see coming until De gea fulfils his potential and earns a trip home to Madrid or barca and I doubt we could stop him if they turn his head.
