No More Deals!

If any United fans out there are hoping for a late January transfer window spurge, they could be heading for major disappointment.

The vibes, coming out of Old Trafford, infer that Sir Alex isn`t a great fan of the January window stating that it is of little worth preferring to do his business in the summer, ensuring any signings made are legible for European football.

So, with Wilfried Zaha signed up (and loaned back to Crystal Palace), it would appear that our business, for January, is done and dusted!

Wouldn't say any major reinforcement are needed at the moment, perhaps in the summer one or two positions could do with that something extra but we can cope for now. January do extend to be a time for signing youngsters or squad players unless you're desperate. Same there's no more deals, it's when we tend to do some of our best business e.g. Vidic and Evra. Personally think the league would be better served if the January window was just a 2 week period in which there's a winter break.
