Macheda Bundesliga Bound?

Macheda Bundesliga Bound?

The United career of Federico Macheda continues to frustrate those who thought he was destined for the big-time.

Breaking onto the scene, at the age of 17, with that winner against Aston Villa, indicated we`d uncovered a gem.

Sadly, Macheda`s career hasn`t continued at the same pace and after several loan spells, it I snow looking as if he could be about to depart Old Trafford with Stuttgart being mentioned as a likely destination.

Rumours of a move to Stuttgart are fuelled by their Director of Sport Fredi Bobic, remarking,

"We have been watching him for a while now."

"He is one of the players on our short-list."

So, could the twenty-one year old be set for a career in the Bundesliga?

Arrogance got to him. He believed in the hype surrounding him and as such got complacent and took his eye off the ball. Even when struggling for a place and going out on loan he thought he was too good for some clubs. Think he needs to go sooner rather than later and get his career on track.

Have to agree famous definitely one who got sucked in by the wonderkid hype. Hope he can pull his head from out of his arse and get his career back on track
