Some Things Are Just Meant to Be!

The moment David de Gea`s punch didn`t clear the lines and the ball was worked to Aaron Lennon, you feared the worst.

Lennon, to his credit, kept his cool and squared the ball for Clint Dempsey to fire into the bottom corner, evading all those in the six yard box and on the line.

But, delving into the record books, we find that the American international has now scored twice against us whilst wearing the white shirt of Spurs which is in stark comparison to his time at Fulham.

Whilst wearing the white shirt of Fulham, Dempsey failed to net in 10 fixtures he played in against us.

I guess some things are just meant to be!

A good game!! Would i have said that had we not scored.. probably not!! You could've had a penalty but we could've had more goals, so a fair result all round!! Goodluck with 1st and help us out with 3rd/4th, where you can!!

Never known a United side come to WHL where the team was set up to defend. Bale has only shown glimpses(?) of his potential this season and to try and stifle him (which worked) out of the game, left Lennon to put fear of God in Evra. Penalty, what penalty, I watched the whole match and never saw a penalty. Anyway you'd have missed it anyway. Best of luck or the rest of the season and even more luck to finish top 3/4...
