Far and Wide!

Far and Wide!

Last week we mentioned, a couple of times; the fact that David de Gea was a possible transfer target for the Catalan giants, Barcelona.

With Victor Valdes set to call time on his career at the Nou Camp, many pundits were predicting that Barcelona were looking towards our young Spanish keeper.

However, we shouldn`t be losing too much sleep over the rumour, the reason being that, in the last forty-eight hours have seen two other top-class keepers linked with a move to Barcelona.

These two being Liverpool`s capable keeper Pepe Reina and the young Chelsea owned keeper (on loan at Atletico Madrid) Thibaut Courtois.

It looks as if Barcelona are casting their net far and wide!

Can't imagine it being Courtois, Reina is a very good shout though. He is Catalonian, good with his feet and a proven keeper and I'm sure he'd love to move back to Barca, just to play at the highest level against . Still think though that not to far in the distant future one of the two Spanish giants will come knocking for de gea and I reckon he'll go as well.
