De Gea Update!

De Gea Update!

Could David de Gea be heading for the exit?

In an article we ran yesterday, we offered the inference that Barcelona may be looking to sign our Spanish keeper, David de Gea.

The inference was based on the supposition that their current keeper, Victor Valdes, could be set to leave.

This morning, the tabloids offer the proposition that Valdes is indeed set to leave Barcelona and could even, having declared his intentions, leave the Nou Camp this transfer window.

Could we be about to witness a frenzy of transfer activity!

Give us what we paid for him and then some then they can have him. Barca being Barca though will expect a cut price deal for him which won't happen. I don wonder though whether if Barca do offer a figure we cant turn down and we accept, what we would do with the money, whether Fergie would go straight for an experienced complete package keeper or try again with another youngster.

Barca? Full money for a Spanish player? Not in this day and age they'll just get his compatriots in his ear at internationals. If they want him it'll be Fabrigas style dealings
