Another Penalty Miss

Another Penalty Miss

Has our old trait of not being able to score from the penalty spot returned?

I`d hope not!

But, following Wayne Rooney`s effort last night, an effort that cleared the bar, Sir Alex Ferguson ha a few remarks about our Achilles heel following the game, commenting,

We have to improve."

"Rickie Lambert at Southampton has scored 33 out of 33. That`s what penalty taking is all about."

"Penalties are to take advantage of whether it`s handball or a foul - and score a goal."

Not for knocking out the poor guy in row Z may we add!

Haha certainly not for knocking out paying spectators. Rooney's penalty taking has always been inconsistent. Personally can't see past RVP as the penalty taker, if not then hand the responsibility to whoever is the next best penalty taker rather than the golden boy who's penalty taking history is only matched by his performances for country.

the Airport has had to divert incoming Aircraft due to low flying footballs in the Trafford area, last night, so expect a bill for compensation from disgruntled passengers.......

Just stop Rooney taking them problem solved. Let Hernandez or Welbeck have a crack surely they can't be any worse.
