De Gea Linked to Barcelona!

With Manchester United being linked, almost on a daily basis, with a move for another goalkeeper, it was only ever going to be a matter of time before another club was linked with our present keeper.

Over the last couple of days, the future of David De Gea has come under intense speculation with one destination being named, by more than one news source.

The 22 year-old Spaniard is being linked with a return to La Liga with Barcelona being touted as favourites to land him to replace the, reportedly outgoing Valdes.

Is it one to keep an eye on or just idle gossip?

The club bought him for the long term but I imagine the option to return back to Spain for one of Madrid or Barca will prove to much of a temptation for him. Think it's too soon for him to leave now but I wouldn't rule it out in the future.

from the outside, I still believe he has some way to go to be rated as a United keeper and though his is great with his feet and as a shot stopper, I still feel he lacks command of his area. Maybe seeing him every week gives you a different view, but I feel there are many better keepers in the Prem and all costing far less that you spent of him
