Zaha Deal Done?

Speculation is rife, this morning, that Sir Alex Ferguson`s wily old charms have resulted in the promising young Crystal Palace star, Wilfried Zaha, agreeing to become a United player.

It seems that United have beaten off the challenge of both Spurs and Arsenal to land the player with a fee of £12 million being mentioned to secure the services of the 20 year-old player.

Apparently, United will be paying £8 million up front with the other £4 million coming via add-ons.

The red-tops also go on to infer that United may have agreed to let the youngster remain at Selhurst Park for the remainder of the season and may also have promised Ian Holloway the loan of a couple of youngsters to assist Palace with their bid for promotion to the Premier League.

Good thing a fair chunk of the fair would be based on add-ons as Zaha I can see only going one of two ways, a tremendous talent or monumental flop, I can't see there being a middle ground with the hype and potential surrounding him. Think there's other positions that need prioritising to be honest, like getting in another fletcher-like midfielder. That said due to the players we have in that position the lack of wingers does go unnoticed, we do only have Nani, Young and Valencia, two of which are inconsistent and only one that can play on both sides comfortably and no talented wingers par perhaps adnan januzaj but eve his got a big injury to make a comeback from.

Still not convinced by this lad not really seen enough of him to pass judgment. In all fairness if he lives up to the hype he'll be a cracking player to have but in my experience very few live up to the standards expected of them

No offence fcb but what has that article got to do with anything? I think you need to find better things to do in your spare time than hate on united and utilise a very selective memory to paint a bad picture of us just to rationalise the hate. I don't think you'll find too many united fans bothered that you even hate us let alone why you hate us, personally speaking I couldn't give a flying fe(k how you justify it or whether there's even an actual argument behind it with solid foundations. You're fully capable of actually talking football and posting some really good stuff but predominately VMU its just somewhere you can vent your hate fest and generally troll. Have you actually got anything to say related to our supposed interest in Zaha or maybe even at least Zaha himself as a player or are you just here to troll some more?

And the blue mantra gets recited yet again you blues must all have a copy that you read every night. Do you have to repeat it word for word before they let you into wastelands?
