Vidic on that Last Gasp Equalizer
Is it really 2004 since we last won the FA Cup?
That seems an eternity ago!
Nevertheless, the last minute equalizer, down at Upton Park, ensures we`re still in with a fighting chance of winning it this season. Albeit with the final still being a long way off.
But, if anyone was in any doubt as to our sincerity when it comes to wanting to won the FA Cup, Nemanja Vidic sums it up perfectly with the following comment,
"We believe it`s important. We haven`t won the trophy for eight years and it`s a trophy we`re looking to win. We showed that in how we celebrated the goal. I`m hoping at home it will be a different game. We have a big squad and can handle one more match."
Not being churlish or anything, but don`t last minute goals, when they mean avoiding defeat, get celebrated manically anyway?
