I`m sure this rumour surfaced a while ago!
Nevertheless, with the transfer window now open, speculation, amongst the red-top publications, is that United could be looking towards the Norwegian side, Molde, for a new defender.
Molde, managed by the United legend Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, have on their books a player called Vegard Forren who at twenty-four years of age, is rated at £2.5 million and tipped to move to Old Trafford.
Let`s just wait and see shall we!

This lad is linked to us a lot largely due to him playing for a feeder club. Could be a decent premier league player but I highly doubt he's a player we're after. If Fergie didn't think piqué was good enough I can't imagine him thinking this guy is good enough.
