Powell Wanted?

There`s no doubt that Nick Powell has a long career, at Old Trafford, ahead of him.

However, at eighteen years of age, Powell faces stiff competition to get into the United starting eleven, born out by the fact that he`s made just 6 appearances this season.

To that effect, here at Vital Manchester United, we reckon that any plea, as anticipated according to the media, with regards to Darren Ferguson going to Sir Alex (his dad). With a plea to take him on loan could be favourably received.

A spell at London Road could be just what Nick needs at this stage of his career with the Championship club making a gallant attempt to shrug off an appalling start to the season to ensure they retain their Championship status come next May.

If he has to go out on loan surely it'd preferably be some team in the prem. But if Darren has gone cap in hand to Fergie he's probably championship bound. Till someones sacked at any rate ;-)

Fergie sure we couldn't get Wigan interested and loan him to them? Youngsters that are loaned out to his son don't tend to go far.

Good point I forgot Darren has ruined a fair few promising young players. We'd be best keeping Powell away from him at all costs
