Could Today be Four?

This weird and wonderful game of ours continues to throw up some strange facts.

Patrice Evra scoring his third goal of the season, already, against Swansea was one such fact.

Speaking about his newly found free-scoring ability, Patrice is quoted as saying,

"It`s no accident - I`ve started to believe I can score goals."

"I`m really confident for the rest of the games we have coming up over Christmas."

The only downside being the odds on Patrice being first scorer are starting to dramatically drop!

He always was a very attack-minded fullback and got into some great goalscoring positions over the years but always lacked the finishing touch, not that you'd expect that from a fullback anyway. However, his ability to start taking some of the changes he's presented with in front of goal is really helping the team get results and long may it continue.
