And on the Game!

And on the Game!

Having had his say about the Williams / Van Persie incident, Sir Alex also had a few things to say about the game.

Talking to the media, Sir Alex had a grouch about the fact two points were dropped and wasn`t over-endeared with the performance of the referee, commenting,

"We absolutely battered them and we were very unlucky. It really should have been a foul for us in the build-up to their goal."

"It was just one of those games."

"Michael Oliver is a young referee, but really, what a performance."

"It should have been a six-point gap today and that is the disappointment."

It would appear that age isn`t mellowing our gaffer.

We failed to take our chances, that has nothing to do with the ref.
