'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pulling the Cork!

With Europe still digesting the pairing of two giants in the last sixteen of the Champions League, it appears that something highly unusual happened in Nyon, Switzerland.

It would seem that the eight ties that were drawn out in the official draw, perfectly matched those drawn out in the dress-rehearsal.

The odds on this happening are put at a staggering 5000-1.

Continuing, on a European theme Sir Alex Ferguson has wasted no time in mentioning a tradition he is keen to uphold with regards to Jose Mourinho.

Whenever the pair have clashed before, peace is immediately restored post match by the two sharing a bottle of wine, with Sir Alex commenting yesterday,

"Well it is the tie of the round. It`s an opportunity for our fans to see Cristiano again and also for me to meet up with Jose - I`ll need to order some good wine."

Could, amongst the many items to be discussed, be the chances of Mourinho succeeding Sir Alex at Old Trafford?
