Rodriguez - DW Stadium Bound?

Rodriguez - DW Stadium Bound?

Talks are still ongoing about placing our young Chilean striker, Angelo Rodriguez, with another club for a loan spell.

It`s felt that the teenage striker needs some first team football to aid his progression rather than playing at the U21 level he is now.

Therefore, it`s not surprising that the tabloid press have revealed that the Wigan boss, Roberto Martinez, has opened talks to take the striker to Wigan.

Once, or if, a deal is confirmed, we`ll report back further,

Most 18 year olds who play regularly in the premier league go on to be very special players. Henriquez must have some serious potential considering he has only just moved to England and Fergie deems him too good for the reserves before he has even really adapted and Martinez, who has a good eye for young players and equally as good at developing young talent, wants him on loan. Would be chuffed to see him on loan at Wigan, we'd get to see more of him and how he fares in a much more competitive league, in a team in a relegation scrap and see if he can showce his potential. Couldn't think of a better place for him to go and wish Macheda wasn't so arrogant and thought himself too good for Wigan as Martinez perhaps could've worked wonders with him like he did Cleverley.
