A Brazilian on the Radar!

A Brazilian on the Radar!

As the days, minutes and seconds click down to the opening of the January transfer window, could United be preparing to make a swoop?

If the red-top newspapers / comics are correct then that could well be the case with it being muted that Sir Alex Ferguson is hot-on-the-heels of the Shakhtar Donetsk player - Fernandinho.

Apparently, a fee, in the region of £16.5 million, is being touted as being enough to persuade the Ukrainian side to part with the 27 year-old Brazilian.

Whilst Shakhtar would prefer to hold onto their asset until the end of the season, it is believed that pressure will be put on the Ukrainian side to sell in January.

As for a possible rival for his signature, look no further than across the city towards our noisy-neighbours!
