Another Striker?

Can anyone else recall when United had a penchant for buying strikers.

I can recall when Alan Brazil and Gary Birtles were signed it appeared as if we we rebuying strikers purely for the sake of it.

With Rooney, Van Persie, Hernandez and Welbeck on our books, we have a quartet of strikers most clubs would be jealous of, therefore, would it be right to treat the rumour that United are taking a look at another striker with a pinch of salt?

The striker in question is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who currently plays for St Etienne. The Gabon star, being chased, reportedly, by Spurs as well as us, is famed for his Swarovski crystal covered boots, costing 2,500. Personally, I`d love to know what Sir Alex would have to say about those boots!
