One Helluva Battle Developing!

The name of Kevin Strootman has been linked with Manchester United several times

The Dutch midfielder, currently on the books of PSV Eindhoven, is highly rated with the 22 year-old considered to be one of the most exciting young talents in Dutch football.

The fact that our club had been linked with a move for the player, on numerous occasions, led us all to believe that, one day, he`d be coming, but we apparently have major rivals for his signature now.

It seems that Arsenal are also keen to sign the player and we`re locked in a battle, with a muted transfer fee of £17 million, to secure his services.

Unfortunately, matters are further complicated by the fact that other top clubs, namely AC Milan, Liverpool and Tottenham are also showing an interest.

Perhaps we should have snapped him up yonks ago, there`d be none of this hullabaloo then would there!

All of these clubs have been scouting Strootman for a number of years and they're not the only ones either. Why is it that U*d or rather U*d apologists always claim they saw him first? It's childish to say the least.

Tis childish Bluedub but also very, very funny but it's not just the united fanbase that has those fans, pretty certain most clubs in the world have them.

As for Strootman the guy does look class and there will be a number of clubs interested in him if he is for sale. He and Wanyama are certainly players who could improve our midfield (assuming they adjust). Thing is with the competition for both players the price won't be quite as cheap as the media are speculating.
