That Was a Special One

That Was a Special One

You get the impression that Sir Alex will dine out on Sunday`s victory for a very long time.

The late, deflected, winner from Robin van Persie will certainly have the red-half of Manchester happy this week.

After the enthralling encounter, Sir Alex was buzzing giving media interviews but the lines below probably sum it up perfectly,

"We`ve done it in the past against City but today was a special one simply because they haven`t lost at home for two years and both teams are contending at the top of the league."

"It was a fantastic game - you couldn`t take your eyes off it."

"Intensity, passion, competiveness, everything was there, it was really fantastic. We played very well and deserved to win overall."

I`m not sure the blue half of Manchester will agree though after coming back from 2-0 down to make it 2-2!
