'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Best Ever Results?

Ahead of the derby with our cash-rich neigbours, Manchester City, Sir Alex Ferguson seems to be playing a few of his famous old mind-games by bigging-up our opponents.

Now whether it`ll work or not remains to be seen but Sir Alex has the following quotes printed in the tabloid press this morning,

"If we win, it will be one of our best ever results."

"They are a really good, powerful team with massive players."

"If we defend like we did at Reading we will be in trouble."

"The important thing is to take lessons from the mistakes - we need to find a solution."

And on it, as some are predicting, being a two-horse title race, Sir Alex doesn`t agree furthr commenting,

"At this time in the season you cannot really say it`s a two horse race."

"If you think back we were 12 points behind Chelsea at one point and when Arsenal beat us in the League in 1998 we were 11 points clear."

Suddenly, Sunday is fast becoming a fixture I can`t wait to arrive, how about you?

Nah, can't be true - slur told us we were just a small club and that we didn't matter at all. Of course your players have been saying something along the lines of "City don't matter" all week, so maybe your manager has lo0st the dressing room?
