Another Midfield Target

Another Midfield Target

The name of Manchester united continues to prove very popular when it comes to the transfer speculation.

According to the tabloid press this morning, United`s interest in Oscar de Marcos is set to be revived.

It`s being inferred that United are looking at persuading the 23 year-old midfield player to leave Atletico Bilbao for the Premier League.

Dubbed the 'new Roy Keane` it is mentioned that United were put off by a £25 million asking price in the summer but now believe the Spanish club will let the player go for something close to £20 million.

We`ll keep you posted.

de Marcos is no Roy Keane. He looks a very good player but like Bender he's certainly not a 25 million pound player. If Fergie really does want a midfield general then he will be looking towards the likes of Fellaini, Strootman or M'Vila, someone who can singlehandedly boss a midfield.
