Sort that Defence Out!

Sort that Defence Out!

And so we fell behind again but still emerged victorious!

Watching Manchester United these days is certainly entertaining but you can`t help but think that we`ll need to sort our defence out if we are going to wrestle the title back from Manchester City, a side we face in the Premier League next weekend.

Talking about our defensive woes, after the 4-3 victory against Reading, Sir Alex Ferguson remarked to the media,

"It`s a shocker, worst we`ve been all season. We deserved to be battered today, but we are scoring goals which rescues us all the time."

"In the middle of the first half I was saying to myself it will be a miracle if we win this one the way we were defending - and I am just glad we did win it."

"We brought Chris on, which made a big difference in terms of the height."

"The boy (Rafael) was disappointed coming off. He has been one of our best players this season."

"It is not a question of character, but if you make mistakes defending, you are going to have rescue jobs every week."

And I suspect some of those rescue jobs, against the better teams, will be unrecoverable.
