'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Another Defender

The acquisition of young talent, for the future, is an aspect of management that shouldn`t be neglected.

Over the years, United have brought in several youngsters that have been nurtured and then brought through the ranks, but could there be another on the way?

The tabloid press is in unison in suggesting that United are very keen to lure a talented youngster, currently on the books of St Etienne, to Old Trafford.

Kurt Zouma, just 18 years of age, is rated in the 9 million bracket and it is believed that United are desperate to invite him across to Old Trafford to convince him that his future lies there.

As for any potential rivals for his signature, then one name keeps cropping up, that of Manchester City!

He's young and from what I understand has the potential to be a classy defender. We missed a trick when we lost Varane to Real Madrid so I wonder whether that would spur on Fergie to be more urgent in signing another young French CB.
