Jones Back and Hitting the Ground Running

Jones Back and Hitting the Ground Running

Slowly, but surely, Sir Alex Ferguson is welcoming back the walking wounded.

Although Shinji Kagawa has, disappointingly, had his comeback put back a few weeks, Nemanja Vidic is on course for an early return, whilst Phil Jones now looks set for inclusion in the squad after playing the full 90 minutes over in Turkey, against Galasataray.

Jones, who`s versatility is always a positive aspect to his game, has spoken to the red-top press about the frustration being injured brings, remarking,

"I am delighted to get 90 minutes under my belt. I feel good. I am sick and tired of watching the lads on TV when I have been injured."

"They have travelled and I have stayed at home because I have been injured."

"It is great to be back. Hopefully I can stake a claim to get back into the team."

Welcome back Phil, let`s hope that injury run is a thing of the past.

Glad he's back his versatility gives us a boost in defense and midfield. Two areas where we need all the help we can get at the moment.
