Ferguson - Relatively Pleased!

Ferguson - Relatively Pleased!

I doubt whether anybody was really looking forward to the trip to Turkey last night and I reckon a few of our playing staff are glad it`s done and dusted.

Inside a ground where the atmosphere exceeds intimidating, nerves can be shredded and panic attacks prevalent, but United coped admirably last night with Sir Alex remarking afterwards,

"The players handled the atmosphere."

"Their temperament was good and parts of their game were good."

"We suffered at set-pieces with the lack of experience and height, which was always going to be an issue, but I`m satisfied."

"It was a decent performance and we could have won it. We had some good attacking play and overall it was a good competitive game."

It certainly was and although the result wasn`t what we`d hoped for, the fact that we were already through tempered any disappointment felt as my head hit the sack last night.
