Edwin Snaps Up a New Job!

Edwin Snaps Up a New Job!

Over in Holland, a United legend appears to be carving out a new career.

Edwin van der Sar, who performed admirably between the sticks for so many years for United, has taken up the post of marketing director on the board of Ajax with a glowing tribute from the present Ajax CEO, Hans Weijers,

'Van der Sar had a fantastic career and also has natural leadership and therefore the potential to be our managing director in the future.'

Are we to say that the future of Ajax, particularly their marketing department, is in safe hands?

Not sure whether its wise to put a footballer in charge of marketing however all the same best of luck to Edwin. Personally think he will be better suited to a coaching role or as a club ambassador.
