Ferguson Offers Praise!

Another loss, on the road, has seen us lose ground to our near neighbours, Manchester City.

But, despite losing at a ground where many expected we`d flourish, Sir Alex Ferguson was quite humble in defeat and offered Norwich City praise, commenting to the media afterwards,

"We were too long in delaying our crosses."

"We should have got the ball in earlier. Young improved that."

"But we just didn`t get into the space behind them, it just didn`t happen for us. Norwich got plenty of men behind the ball and closed out all the spaces and we couldn`t get our crosses in."

"But there are times you have to recognize when the opposition have played beyond themselves. You`ve got to give Norwich lots of credit for working so hard. It was a real special effort."

It was and the Gods were with the, Lady Luck smiled down on them and…………….we just played very poorly!
