Henriquez Update

Henriquez Update

Not too long ago we ran an article that offered the inference that our 18 year-old Chilean striker, Angelo Henriquez, could be going out on loan for the remainder of the season.

Well it appears that Manchester United have selected Wigan as the ideal proving ground and in order to allow Roberto Martinez to run his eye over the player, United may even be prepared to loan Angelo out to a Championship club, for a few weeks, to show Martinez what he is capable of.

Can't think of a better place for him to learn. Martinez would have him playing the right type of football and he should be good enough to put in a serious challenge for the first team against Kone and Di Santo. Hopefully he has a better attitude towards it than Macheda as Macheda thought he was too good for him and looks likely to leave due to a lack of development.

I'd prefer a premier league side for a loan move than the championship, think about players like cleverley and welbeck. They all got their premier league loan experience and it all paid well.
