'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Brady Praise

It must almost be the equivalent of climbing Everest for a youngster to break into the United first team.

The intense pressure that forces clubs to seek instant success means that young talent is often sacrificed by the introduction of expensively imported stars.

However, every now and again one young player will break through the ranks and a former defender of ours, now residing at Sunderland, John O`Shea, reckons that Robbie Brady could be the next to do so.

O`Shea has watched, first hand, as Robbie has impressed in training with the Irish international squad as is attributed as having remarked to the red-top media, ABOUT Robbie having the ability to make that breakthrough,

"Robbie definitely does. He is a very intelligent lad and is under no illusions he is facing a difficult task."

"But he has got a lot of ability and the talent to back it up."

"If he did get a chance to get a run in the Manchester United team, I am sure he would take it with both hands."

And that, I fear, is the crux of the problem, just getting that elusive run in the first team!
