Dispelling a Myth

Dispelling a Myth

For somebody who isn`t on the books of Manchester United, we seem to have had a few articles relating to Paul Pogba recently.

But, in all fairness, they have been valid articles.

The latest, picking up on some quotes that have appeared in the red-top press, might anger Sir Alex a bit.

Primarily, because they, kind of erode that assumption that the Scot rules the dressing room with a rod of iron aided by that all too familiar hairdryer.

This is what Pogba has had to say,

"People believe that the atmosphere in the United dressing room is very serious because of the manager."

"Ferguson always wants laughter. On television his image is one of fear but in the intimacy of the dressing room he is very different. He`s always very close to his players."

Now that is an image that many wouldn`t have imagined!

Glad to see there's no bad blood between the two.

Honestly didn't think Fergie was as bad as made out. Maybe year's back but he's mellowed a bit. He's also said himself that modern player's aren't as able to take a rollicking as they were say 20 year's ago not mentally strong enough. Lets face it one good ripping into would have some of our squad in tears can't imagine the likes of Keane, Bruce, Cantona etc having that problem
